About Spotlight

Spotlight Performing Arts was established in 2017 by Tara O'Connor and Kevin Tobin. They ensure a learning experience that your child will not forget!

Community Events
We take part in many local events within the community. Glow Christmas, Christmas Light Switch on at Carrigtwohill and Carrigaline and Fundraising Galas to name a few.
Performance
Every year, we host an exciting performance that allows our talented students to shine on stage!
'Peter & The Darlings' captivated audiences at Cork City's Firkin Crane Theatre, while 'Tis Freezing' brought the down at Cork School of Music. Our thrilling productions like 'Just Think!', 'Willy Wonka'and 'Swamped' lit The Everyman Palace Theatre, and we proudly celebrated our students' performances in the touring show, 'The Classic Rock Show' at The Opera House Cork! Just to name a few!
Exploring our creativity
We explore a lot of different creative outlets. We have recorded original musical theatre tracks, commissioned for Spotlight. Students have recorded their very own audio book. We starred in our own movie and the premiere was held in Cork's own Omniplex cinema, Mahon Point.
